  • 1 1/2 cups (300g) sugar

  • 2 teaspoons baking powder

  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda

  • 1/4 teaspoon kosher salt

  • 1/4 cup (57g) very soft unsalted butter

  • 1 cup whole milk

  • 1/4 cup neutral oil

  • 3 large eggs

  • 1 1/2 tablespoons (4 1/2 teaspoons) vanilla extract

  • 1 batch Vanilla Buttercream Frosting
